Claims Specialist

Help with the end to end internal claims process and insurance claims while providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • • Responsible of Loss Analysis for claims

  • • Responsible for the overall satisfaction of the Customer and Driver experience within the claims process

  • • Complete own investigation of physical damage and liability claims

  • • Communicate to customer service regarding status of truck repairs so they can prepare to conclude move if necessary

  • • Report all claims with injuries, tow or moderate to severe damage to insurance company

  • • Facilitate insurance company investigation and assist in the negotiation and resolution of third party claims

General Requirements

  • Computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and using the internet.

  • Ability to basic math in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to develop/maintain effective, cooperative, and courteous relationships with other staff.

  • Develop and implement creative ideas for the recruitment of Drivers

  • Manage a recruiting budget and make sound financial decisions for the allotment of funds

  • Screen and interview qualified applicants

  • Maintain database of all applicants and Drivers

  • Build a network of contacts to locate qualified Drivers

  • Communicate with the company in order to understand recruitment needs at various job sites

  • Ability to travel between 40-60%

Compliance Specialist

Responsible for processing and managing the Driver Qualification process and/or Drug and Alcohol testing and/or handling the Driver Logs

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive and review all incoming driver applications and set up PEDS as necessary and per our guidelines

  • Put file together with check list

  • Contact applicant for any missing information or unsigned documents

  • Order DAC and MVR

  • Send out reference checks

  • Review file, DAC, MVR and PEDS results

  • Scan in driver daily logs, check for violations and mail log violations as needed

  • Tracks and ensures that all logs are turned in

  • Audits fuel receipts and maintain log files

  • Request and review photos and estimate

  • Submit for audit or agreed price if necessary

  • Handle payment of claim

  • Communicate to customer service regarding status of truck repairs so they can prepare to conclude move if necessary

  • Rate quoting/Order Attainment (“sell the move”)
